People started coming to Benidorm in the 1960s an 1970s and now as many as 4 million people visit each year. You all seem to have put alot of effort in to this blog. You all should be very proud. I hear it is very cold in England at the moment and there has been alot of snow.
Take Care evryone
Peter

See you soon
Hallo to all of you from Brookburn Primary!
My name is Katerina and I live in Prague, the capital city of the Czech Republic, together with my husband Filip and Berushka the dwarf hamster. Filip is an Egyptologist – that means he is a scientist who spends time in Egypt (Africa) working in and under the sand, just like the Indiana Jones you know, and finding out about the life and customs of people who lived a very long time ago – thousands of years ago. Berushka also likes to dig around and unearth seeds and bread crumbs from under her wood chip bedding. She is a true little bulldozer!
You wouldn’t believe how much snow we have in Prague these days. I went out during the lunch break and made my own snowman!
Have a lovely weekend everybody! Enjoy the snow!
Katerina
Hello Brookburn!
My name is Shannon Hancock, and I am a 5th grade teacher (ages 10-11. Is that year 5 in the UK?) at Halls Elementary School. Halls is in Knoxville, Tennessee, USA. We are studying equations and inequalities in Math; the 1920s in History, and Geology in Science.
Knoxville is in the Smoky Mountains in the eastern part of the USA. We are very near Gatlinburg which is a popular tourist destination where people visit the mountains. It’s cold here right now (high of 37 degrees Farenheit today. Do you know what that would be in Celcius?), and we’ve had some light snow. We’re celebrating St. Valentine’s Day at school today, and everyone is excited about giving out cards and candy!
hi my name is arandeep. I love my school.
Mrs Hancock, Thank you for leaving a comment on our blogs! age 10-11 would be year 6! Does your school have a blogging site? if so let us know what it is and maybe our year 6′s would get in touch!

Hello Brookburn Primary!
My name is Nancy and I live in the US in Wisconsin next to one of the Great Lakes. We have only had a foot of snow fall on us this week but it’s enough to go to a good sledding hill and have fun for the weekend with my kids.
I am a computer programmer and have designed programs for insurance companies ever since DOS came out. Times have changed and the company I work for has changed also and we now make programs for the Windows systems and the internet.
I would love to know if you are using computers in the classrooms and for what purposes.

To Mr Alderdice hope you are having a nice holiday but were not in America! Your homework this holiday is to learn how to spell licence.
Greetings, Brookburn Primary, from sunny Singapore!
How did I get to know about your blog? Well, it’s through a colleague of mine who has a daughter in your school. I had a peek at your blog and your website too and I’m really impressed. They’re really interesting. Keep up the good work!
Now, something about where I come from….
Singapore is a tiny tropical island in SE Asia – hot, humid and sunny all year round with occasional heavy downpours. We also have one of the highest occurance of lightning in the region.
Singapore is a food and shopping paradise; you can get almost any type of food and things from around the world, including my favourite beer-battered fish and chips from the UK.
Right now the Chinese in Singapore are celebrating our Lunar New Year with lots of festive goodies, house visits and decorations. You must come visit some time when you can!
Cheers
Eileen
Im so happy about how many visiters have visted our blog.

Hello year 1, my name is Shelley and I am Miss Ferguson’s daughter. I wanted to say a big thankyou for all your work in helping me choose a name for my little baby girl, she is due in 2 weeks now and I am getting very excited.
I have not chosen the name yet, as now I have lots of names to choose from. Miss Ferguson will let you know which name I have chosen when she arrives and bring in a picture to show you all.
Take care
Shelley
Hi my name is Sadie I go to Brookburn, it’s an amazing school! I’m in year6 and i have a amazing teacher! But because i’m in year6 i will be going to high school I will miss Brookburn.
Hi Brookburn, just thought i would come on here and say hello to all you guys!
My name is Kay and i am currently getting sponsored at a childcare centre in Sydney working with 0-2 year olds. I originally lived in Manchester but after taking a year out to go travelling, I came to Sydney and fell in love with the place. We’re a big centre in the CBD and cater for lots of companies in the city. The childcare is fairly similar to what it is in England…just slightly warmer!!
Well its coming up to St Patricks day so hope you will all be celebrating and having lots of fun making different things at your school.
Take care and speak to you all soon
Kay
Wow we have visitors from the USA!
Hi, I have just had too much dinner and I should’nt really tell those people
who are about to eat, but I feel like I’m going to be sick.
I WANT CAKE!!!
Hi, Kay sounds like a cool childcare person.
G’day to Kay!
Hi to everyone at Brookburn, but a special shout out to my two nieces Evie (Year 1) and Alice (Nursery).
I’m their Uncle Richard, and thought I’d like to send them a special hello as I’m a serving soldier currently working on Operations in Afghanistan. I thought it would be nice to have another country ticked of on your vistors list.
Have fun everyone, and study well as i promise its worth it as you get older.
All the best,
Richard Tomlinson

Hello World!
I am Ella in Mr Sumners class
hi its aran mum love your blogs
Hello Mrs Conlon, Miss Hindson and the whole school, this is Evie (year 1) and Alice (nursery) emailing from Malta.
Alice says hello to Freya, Eleanor, Hattie, Amber and Isobel and Miss Leake (who gave me some cake). Malta is so hot I think I might get burnt into a piece of popcorn! Malta has lots of ‘ant motorways’ and I’ve seen ants in ‘ant shops’ but they’re actually rubbish bins! And in ‘ant cities’ and all sorts!
Evie says hello to Bea and says to Anna, I hope you are okay with your crutches. Malta is so hot, I can see so many bees, that includes you too Beatrice!
Hi girls glad you are having a good time! I’m keeping an eye on Mum for you she says she misses you both lots!
Cant wait to hear all about it when you get back to school!
love Mrs Conlon
This is a message for Jack W:
Hey you, Dad told us you guys are planning to come to Rio for the summer? Yaaay! We will be here waiting for you and will try to save a weekend to go somewhere outside town. Forget Disney, Mickey Mouse is so last century! =)
You have to meet our dog Guadalupe and we want to see how cute Imogen is. So make sure you do not forget your little sister at the airport OK?
Maybe we could watch the World Cup together. Just cannot promise we will be supporting England…
Take care my little friend. And we hope to see you real soon.
Cheers!

Hi Everyone – I’m visiting Esam and Yani – I used to live in Manchester but now I live in New Zealand – which is a really cool country! It is the size of Britian but has less people than Manchester! And we have lots of volcanoes and often have earthquakes!! There are birds here that can’t fly called the Kiwi and the Weka. But the best animal is an insect called a weta – which you really should see -its not as scary as it looks! People from New Zealand are often called Kiwis – Kiwis are also a bird and a fruit!!
Hello World i’m Kathryn and I go to Brookburn Primary in Mr sumners class.
